Despite the unhealthy air quality, we had 18 volunteers help us plant 30 native trees, shrubs and forbs at Robertson Park on Saturday November 10th, 2018.
The air quality was okay as the event started probably due to the night time valley inversion pushing the smoke up and out of the valley as the cooler air descended. By 10:30 am, the lower layers of air had warmed up and the smoke had descended into the valley. The event ended early due to unhealthy air quality. A few of us stayed until 1:30 pm (including some incredibly dedicated volunteers) to finish watering the newly planted plants.
