Living Arroyos invited local businesses and community organizations to send representatives to a Business Leaders’ Field Day. This event consisted of a sample volunteer day during which folks planted trees along the Arroyo Mocho, learning more about Living Arroyos and deciding if a volunteer project with the program would be the right fit for their team. Volunteer workdays with Living Arroyos offer employees the chance to give back to their community while they have fun, work together, and connect with each other.
We were delighted to welcome employees from Cablewholesale.com, Simpson Manufacturing, Workday Corporation, Ellie Mae, and Congressman Eric Swalwell’s office.

Diana Fischer with Workday Corporation and Josh Huber with Congressman Eric Swalwell’s office work together to put an oak seedling in the ground.
The day was warm, but all field day participants dug in and planted oak seedlings along the stream bank, joking around and getting to know each other along the way.
Thank you to every organization that took the time to visit our site and learn about Living Arroyos. We look forward to having you return with your groups!
